London Ontario is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Canada. The city is popularly called the Forest City because of the significant number of parks that are cared for by in the area. There are ore than 200 parks in the city and most of them are open to the public for day trips as well as overnight camping. These parks have practically cemented the city's reputation because of the different facilities that are offered in these parks. London is teeming with tourists every summer as almost everyone in Canada wants to experience the parks of London even for just a day or two. The outdoor experience in London is very lively that not a day during summer that goes without activities that will entertain the whole family. The lakes, trees and mountains to be hiked have always attracted locals and are also becoming popular in other provinces as well as states in USA.  

Aside from its beautiful natural setting, London is also a popular destination for those who wanted to learn more about Canada and its neighboring cities. Various museums and historical structures are scattered around the city that provides insightful information regarding London and Canada. Most of course would require fees to gain entrance museums but it is always worth it if you want to know more about London.  

Summer is probably the best season to visit London. Not only is that the natural surrounding is at its best, the most festivities in London usually happens during this season. Almost every weekend during the summer season, London always has something to celebrate. The city is also becoming the preferred destination for different sporting events internationally as well as locally. But that doesn't mean that other seasons are less desirable. Fall and Spring brings out the best of the city through the vibrant colors of the trees and snow brings in the classic experience of enjoying the snow.  

Even though the popularity of London is continuously increasing, the city still keeps the ambiance since it was established. London is still a relatively small city wherein the people enjoys a lot of things but are never complicated. Different structures have been built such as malls and golf courses but the traditional feel of living in a small Canadian town will always be there in London. Tourists and locals alike treasure this as they could practically enjoy the best of both worlds without having to compromise anything.
