The Azuga resort is located on the Prahova Valley at the foot of the Bucegi Montains, at 4 km distance from Busteni, at 6 km distance from Predeal and 12 km from Sinaia. The settlement is located in Prahova County at an altitude of aproximately 900 m.

Even if is a small resort, Azuga has 2 parts wich have ski lifts and the favored forms of tourism are: skiing, climbing, snowboard, hiking, resting, and there is the possibility of summer sports.

The esential resources for tourism that can benefit the tourists that are visiting the Azuga resort are: the mountain landscape of great beauty and aesthetic value, especially the rest favorable climate of sub-Alpine ski potential, responsible fisheries.
