by Sinaia resort is situated in Prahova county, at the foot of Bucegi Mountains, at 60 km distance from Ploiesti and 50 km from Brasov. It is a major city in Romania mainly due to tourist attractions, being one of the most beautiful mountain resorts in the country. Here we meet the former summer residence of King Carol I, the Peles Castle, but we can visit also the monastery of Sinaia, some memorial houses, and those interested can make various trips to the peak wich name is Varful cu Dor, and continuing with Piatra Arsa, Babele, Caraiman, Costila to Omu Peak wich has 2507 m in height. Arriving on the plateau we can admire the Sphinx and all Babele.
