Keystone is a year round resort that offers something for everyone. Variety is the keyword that characterizes this resort: plenty of activities in any season, four different mountains to ski and beautiful mountain views. It is the perfect destination for a complete winter vacation in a mountain town with a typical alpine feel.

Located in a beautiful valley, Keystone is home to the largest outdoor maintained ice skating facility in the United States and to four magnificent mountain playgrounds Dercum Mountain, North Peak, and The Outback are accessible from the Keystone Village Base area while Arapahoe Basin is a 10 minute shuttle ride up Loveland Pass. Together they offer 2,227 incredible acres of a variety of terrain serviced by 24 lifts and over 3,000 acres of bumps and bowls. Skiers of any level will find something to suit their taste and ability. Keystone is an excellent place for the beginner to learn how to ski or snowboard. Beginners and families are welcomed at the beginner "bunny hill" at the top of Dercum Mountain and the groomed, slow skiing areas and wide trails. There are also 57 km of ungroomed trails. More advanced and adventurous skiers should consider North Peak’s steep mogul covered runs for those who can't get enough bumps and there’s Outback's gladded tree skiing for experts.

Keystone's Nordic Center at the new River Course golf course is the place to head for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. It offers 16 km of prepared trails and 57 km of ungroomed trails, equipment rentals, telemark lessons, tours for all ability levels, rental equipment, a cafe and a tubing hill.

If you can’t get enough of skiing, this is the place to be as Keystone is the only place in Summit County with the longest ski day - 12 hour ski day- in Colorado where you can ski and ride until 9 p.m. and watch the sunset on the trails. All these for the same price, as your daytime lift ticket are valid at night until 9 p.m. and you’ll enjoy twelve hours of skiing on three different mountains.

East of the summit of Dercum Mountain you will find the newly opened Independence Bowl with 300 acres of expert-only hiking and snowcat ski/ride terrain. This makes Keystone even bigger than it was.

Skiing is not the only activity around, Keystone Snowboarding is well known and there are other activities to experience like ice skating, snow mobile riding, sleigh rides, indoor tennis and guided snowcat tours into the chutes, bowls and steeper pitches of upper Independence Bowl. There is also Keystone Lodge & Spa that offers health treatments. During the summer season you won’t get bored either, the many golf courses, mountain bike trails, paved bike paths, swimming pools, festivals, concerts and culinary events will keep you fit and entertained. You can also consider fly-fishing, and hiking.

With so much activity going on you will certainly have a huge appetite and want to head to a restaurant. The choice is wide. There are over 30 restaurants too suite every style and budget and a great number of bars and lounges to choose from. Shopping is also to be considered as there are plenty of shopping opportunities in Keystone Resort River Run village where you can find anything from toys to fine art.

Keystone is also a perfect destination for large and small meetings as there are numerous facilities for flexible meeting and you can choose from 50 flexible meeting rooms and three ballrooms.

With special events held throughout the season and an endless source of enjoyable experiences, Keystone is the perfect winter vacation destination because there is so much to do, and fun can be found for all ages.
