Sea World is a must see when you are in San Diego. This is not like some of the amusement parks where you really won't be too happy as an adult. This is for the whole family. They have amazing shows (i.e. dolphins or killer whale - Shamu). Sea World is beautiful and you will be amazed!

Address:
500 Sea World Dr, San Diego, CA 92109, USA

Price:
Single-Day Admission.

$69 for guests age 10+
$59 for guests ages 3 through 9
Free for guests 2 years old and younger

Opening Hours:
Mon-Thu 10am-5pm
Fri-Sun 10am-6pm

How to get there:
From Interstate 5:
Exit SeaWorld Dr. and head West one mile.

From Interstate 8:
Exit Interstate 5 North to SeaWorld Dr. and turn West towards park entrance.

Well, I think $12 for parking is an affordable price if it's for the whole day.. especially if you go to visit Sea World with the whole family.
Anyhow thanks for the useful info.
I also wanted to ask what Shamu is but meanwhile I did a search... here's the result:
