Knapp Chevrolet Antique Auto Museum. This place is like heaven for automobile fanatics. It has a vast display of antique and classic automobiles. Some of these are the 1929 Chevrolet model, Belair convertible released in 1957, and Corvettes.

Harlingen Sights – Recreational and Leisure Spots

Aside from museum and galleries found in the city, Harlingen is also a home to different entertainment areas and leisure spots. Make the day pleasurable by having a glimpse of the following wonders.

Champion Skate Center. This is one of the most visited leisure areas in the city. The skating rink is huge. Aside from skate rentals, the place also has an arcade and a snack bar. Special events are held here during Fridays.

Forever Aloe Plantations. As the name indicates, this plantation focuses on growing aloe vera plants. At the plantation, tourists can take a look at how the plants are cultivated, harvested, and processed into different products. The place also has a gift shop wherein tourists can avail of different aloe products.

Harlingen Butterfly Garden. This tourist spot can be found across the Municipal Auditorium. This garden is home to more than 43 species of butterflies that will surely be enjoyed by kids as well as adults who are children at heart.

Los Ebanos Nature Preserve. This place will surely be enjoyed by everyone as it has gardens and nature trails. It is also a home to different kinds of birds and butterflies.
