This club hosts Comedy Night on Wednesday nights with an hour and a half long comedy show by a comedian. No other club in the town has a comedy show. On Friday and Saturday nights, the club has dance party nights, which start at ten pm. The DJ even takes requests, and unlike other clubs, will even play them. Jacksonville History

In 1752, there was a strong hurricane that destroyed Johnston, which was the county seat, as well as Wantlands Ferry. Jacksonville was then chosen as a better site for the county seat as it was situated further up the river. It was at that time known as Onslow Courthouse, but was in 1842 renamed to Jacksonville after the United States President, Andrew Jackson. read more
