The other climate is the warm - sub humid climate which is actually experienced in some of the most humid regions of this city like the municipalities of Colima and Minatitlan etc. The third kind of climate is the temperate climate which is part of various north western sections of the state.

On the other hand the population for the municipality of Colima was around 133000 inhabitants as per the same census. The municipality of Colima stretches over an area of around 670 kilometer square. Lastly the metropolitan area of Colima had the population of around 324000 inhabitants as per the same census of year 2005.
