The city of Cochabamba is situated somewhere in the central region of Bolivia. It is located in the proximity of Andes Mountains and is part of a valley which is also called by the name of Cochabamba. The country of Bolivia is divided into nine departments and the department of Cochabamba is one of those nine departments. The city of Cochabamba is the capital city for this Department of Cochabamba.
The level of education in the city of Cochabamba has also increased heavily in last couple. The famous Universidad Mayor de San Simón happens to be one of the largest universities in the country of Bolivia is part of this city of Cochabamba itself. Other then this huge university some other small level private universities are also part of Cochabamba. Some of these universities are Universidad del Valle, Universidad Privada Boliviana, Universidad de Aquino Bolivia, and Universidad Catolica Boliviana etc.
