Puerto Iguazú is located in Argentina in the region of Misiones. As per the 2001 census, Iguazú is considered as the fifth largest city of Misiones province because it has a population of 32,038.

Tourists can enjoy direct bus services to places such as Salta by opting to Andesmar. In order to go Buenos Aires, one can get on a bus from several bus companies.

Tourism is a major source of economy in Puerto Iguazú as this place is home to several museums such as the Mbororé Museum and the Museum of Jungle’s Images which amazes tourists. "Güira Oga", "La Aripuca" and Luis Honorio Rolón Nature Park are premium touris attractions.
