Puerto Iguazú is located in Argentina in the region of Misiones. As per the 2001 census, Iguazú is considered as the fifth largest city of Misiones province because it has a population of 32,038.

One can get airplane services from the Cataratas del Iguazú International Airport which is national airport of Iguazu. Foz do Iguaçu International Airport is another popular airport in Puerto Iguazú. Tourists can enjoy direct bus services to places such as Salta by opting to Andesmar. In order to go Buenos Aires, one can get on a bus from several bus companies.
