by York, which is a halfway point between London and Edinburgh, is one of Englands most famous historical town. It is a beautiful place with appealing architecture and rich heritage which makes the destination an ideal tourist attraction. The York Minster is the most prominent attraction of the town,being the towns Icon.
A pleasant location,it offers quite many activities besides visiting. I highly recommend the place as it can offer lots of things what makes the city even better. If you want to see a typical british town, head over York, especially if you want to learn about the nations background.It is vast and dynamic.

York is a historical city situated in the Yorkshire, England. The history of the city is expanded over 2000 years. York was founded by Eboracum in 71 AD and it was made capital of the Britannia Inferior. The Roman Empire was governed from York. The city of York consists of Unitary Authority Area.
