Rom liegt in Italien und ist dort die größte Stadt. Außerdem ist Rom die Hauptstadt Italiens.Rom liegt nicht am Meer. Aber wenn man schwimmen möchte, dann kann man nach Ostia fahren. Das ist nur 45 Minuten von Rom entfährnt. Rom liegt direkt am Tiber, ein Fluss.

Geschichte
753 v.Chr. wurde Rom von Romulus gegründet, dieser tötete seinen Bruder Remus, weil er sich über die Stadtmauer lustiggemacht hat.
Was kann man dort sehen?
In Rom gibt es sehr viel zu sehen, z. B. das Forum Romanum, den Palatin, ein Berg wo viele Tempel stehen,den Pantheon, eine Kirche für alle Götter, das Vatikan Museum, das Coloseum und die Villam Adria.
Verkehr
In Rom gibt es Keine U-Bahnen, weil man dort nicht graben kann. Es gibt nur Buse, Straßenbahnen, einen Flughafen und natürlich ganz viele Autos. Die Straßen sind nicht gut gebaut. Fast in jeder Straße sind große Löcher und der Verkehr ist unkonnroliert. Die Autos fahren in drei Reihen in einer Zweierspurstraße. Alle parken fast schon auf der Straße, sodass man garnicht mehr daneben durchfahren kann.

Viele Filme wurden natürlich auch in Rom gedreht. Z. B.:Rom, offene Stadt, Ein Herz und eine Krone, Roma, Liebes Tagebuch, Verliebt in Rom, The Lissi Mcguire Movie...
Essen
Das Essen in Rom ist wundervoll. Vorallem die Pizzas. Die sind ganz anderst als in Deutschland. Sie sind sehr viel dünner.
