The Pantheon was built for the first time in the year 27 AD bt Agrippa, but suffered a serious fire in year 80 so that was rebuilt in the same form by the Emperor Hadrian in 127. In the year 609 the Pantheon came into the custody of the pope Bonifaciu the forth who transformed the it in a Christian church naming it Santa Maria dei Martiri a name which remained until today. The Pantheon name comes from Greek and means "temple of all gods". That was transformed into the church helped enormously to conserve it, because it was hidden / protected from damage, thieves, abandonment, and thus become famous today for how to fully preserved since antiquity without being restored with the passage of years. This building is one of the greatest inventions novels: the dome

Has a circular shape with a diameter equal to the height of 43.5 m and is the largest building of its kind in the world. The wall thickness at the base is 6.4 m and at the opening is only 0.7 m, the diameter of the opening is 9.1 m and it is the eye itself and is the only source of natural light.

Rome Nightlife

Rome, ItalySeen and be seen! This is a statement that best defines the after-dinner entertainment and fun of Rome. Just like any other capital, the eternal city can enumerate its fair share of night out- hideouts that range from a simple Roman ‘passeggiata’ or a nonchalantly paced walk within the historic town to a modern rock and roll venue where aged wine, good coffee and ice-cold beer can meet and greet.  A past nine or an early ten dinner in Rome is not an issue at all. This is considered normal and is widely practiced in this city of ancient and modern grandeur. Generally, the Roman nightlife is essentially easy-going and relaxed compared to... Read more »
