Aix is a must see in Provence, Avignon, France

Aix is a nice french city, you can visit, if you're in the area. It's known for the palace of the french popes in the center. There are nice restaurants and galleries with pictures of such artists as Van Gogh or Cezanne. The city has got an attractive center, with a lot of markets, where the local farmers sell their products. Food is also good there, depending where you go. There is a beautiful park whith an old hotel, it is lovely and the food is also very good. The surrounding landscape also offers nice possibilities to enjoy forests and walks, if you want to.
