Batangas Nightlife, Philippines

With natural fervor for food and partying, Batangas never fails to satisfy every visitor’s mood with tasty Filipino dishes and unique bar-hopping moments. You’ll hear everyone saying, “Ala eh, let’s party!”

Nightlife is booming around Lipa City, Tanauan and Batangas City. The hustles and bustles on the roads can be as loud as rave and trance music played in disco bars, KTV lounges, hotels, roadside stores and hotels as Chateu Royal and Lima City Hotel, Microtel Inns and Suites, among others. These facilities enclose some bistros and bars that will take you to the dance floor along the 80’s to the hippest music. Red Horse, Colt 45 and San Miguel beers are common to the youth and adult partying crowds; other classy drinks like champagne, tequila, margarita, wines and vodka have their respective niches of clients, mostly business owners and working executives.

The common fast food chains of Jollibee, McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut and Chowking are spread all over, with some branches operating until 10 p.m. or even midnight. If you desire to savor a true-blue Batangas dining, you might want to take a bite of the famous dishes like crispy pata (pork leg) at The Only Place, fried longganisa with atchara and tapang Taal, beef steaks at the A & M Restaurant, and local picks at Josephine’s. For a bit more unique dining, try out Ray’s Floating Bar and Restaurant at the Taal Lake Yacht Club.

Most locals and tourists also prefer to spend the rest of the night chitchatting until closure after dining at Taal Bistro Restaurant, The Main Core Restaurant at Eagle Point Resort, Grace Restaurant, San Diego and Lower Beach Resto, and Quaint Garden Restaurant.

Along the way, you’ll learn that the locals are fond of drinking the local brew from cane called lambanog mostly in respective households. You can also try asking them about kilawin, which is a fresh fish dish soaked in vinegar and acidic juices of lemon, lime and kalamansi fruits.

Other excellent hospitality venues are Anilao Outrigger Resort, Hotel Pontefino, Matabungkay Beach Resort and a lot more; these are brought to life with lounge music or band performances. All roads lead to wherever the most celebrated party scene cooks up. Other low-profile groups spend the night golfing or night swimming at Evercrest Golf Resort.

A homey dining ambience and unlimited fun awaits you at any spot in Batangas. You won’t be out of place because Batangueños makes you feel that you belong. Their warmth is for real.
