The Talev family is the only family who designs the Ohrid pearls. The family has been creating the pearls since 1924 and the secret of how to make them is strictly passed from father to son only. Jewel experts attest that the pearl can last to eternity. Some of the famous people who have fallen under the pearl’s spell are Queen Elizabeth II of Britain and the former prime minister of Sweden Anna Lindh.
