by The Hague, is the political capital of the Netherlands and because of it's status, the city is highly developed in every aspect. It is affluent, crowded and diverse.
Important places to visit in The Hague is the Dutch Parlament, Noordeinde Palace, and Ridderzaal. Although the city is know for having background, it is relatively a new city since skyscrapers and a lot of business centers were estabilished there in the last years. Lots of shops, restaurants, and pubs are present in the city. Since the city is also extremely multicultural and student friendly, it is very vibrant and life there is vast.

There are quite a few clubs and pubs in The Hague, despite of the fact that the crowds are not usually that large. The biggest club in town is Asta, which is located in a former cinema theatre building and still retains its specificity. This club will keep the party going at weekends until early in the morning and it also tends to get busy during weekdays. The Paard van Troje is the best place for concerts and Club Sillies holds a pretty good atmosphere especially at weekends.
