Haarlem is a small town, situated near Amsterdam about 20 km from the Dutch capital. It is know for it's rich history, beautiful architecture and it's prominent market square. The Sint-Bavokerk is the symbol of the city which lies also at the market square. Once a former catholic cathedral, now being a protestant church, it is renowned for it's stunning yet puritan structure also.

The city is one of the wealthiest in the country, providing many fine shops with famous brands and also quality restaurants.

Like most Dutch cities, the city also has a well developed and connected canals with lovely houses, which makes the city even more pleasant.

The flourishing culture can be sensed in Haarlem, due the fact, it is a worthy destination for everybody.

The best clubs to go out dancing are Stalker and Sound, where they have popular DJs that keep the party going until 7AM. However, if you appreciate live music and are interested in some bars which host live bands, we recommend the Patronaat and the Fietzenfabriek, which offer live blues,... Read more »
