This Neusiedler See lake is both on the territory of Hungary (here it is called FertÅ‘ tó) and Austria. We visited it on the Austrian part. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and both the landscape and the lovely towns around the lake are amazing.

There are a lot of birds, many of the visitors come because they say it's one of the best places for bird observation in Central Europe.
We enjoyed the nature and the lake, it was great and not very crowded.
