Mysore was one of those few regions where the kings enjoyed their status even after Indian Independence. Mysore is famous amongst the foreign tourists due to its historical monuments and the beautiful surroundings. The most famous tourist hot spot for the city of Mysore is the auspicious Mysore Palace.
