Was a very interesting digging site with exceptionable findings. I'm an archeologist by profession, so I am very passionate about such things. It was a great pleaseru that I could be there, especially that it was not far from my hometown.
I think that it is a very good thing that we could preserve it for the museum and save it for mankind. I already see the faces of the kids who will see the items in the museum. I am always proud if I can be part of something like this.

Wuppertal History
Incorporated in 1929, the city was initially named Barmen-Elberfeld; but a year later, in 1930, it was given its present name of Wuppertal (or Wupper Valley) because the city is nestled in the steep valley of the Wupper River.
