Strasbourg is one of the most prosperous cities in France. It's a beautiful city, diverse culture with stunning city center.

It is renowned for having both French and German influence, since it is close to the German border and you can see both architecture. The Cathedral, which is situated in the city center, is one of the finest example of gothic architecture in Europe. City offers you a lot, it has charming houses of different style and vibrant life.

Since it is the seat of several European institutions, like the Council of Europe, the city is quite expensive because of it's political status and high standard of living. Nevertheless, it is an upright destination, making the city a popular tourist destination.

During World War II, Strasbourg fell under Nazi control, and suffered... Read more »
