If I book a hotel room online, how do I know if my reservation was really made? What should I do if I'm not certain about doing everything right?

Basically every site where you can book uses a system that will send you an email confirming your booking, with the details you gave and the price you will ave to pay.

If this email does not arrive or it arrives but the data don't match, you should contact the costumer service of the site you used and ask for their help.
