The Dury Inns and suites in San Antonio Tx was a fantastic place to stay across the street from the famed Riverwal , we got upgraded from a standard king room to a 1 bedroom suite with 2 plasma t.v.s sitting area 2 closets , king bed and a riverwalk view at the same price for the standard room !!!! Wow what a deal , the staff was etremely nice at all times and the hotel had comp. breakast every day , and comp. cocktails every night max 3 free drinks per person , they also gave us free appetizer vouvhers for some of the more exclusive restaurants and the Texas Land and Cattle Restaurant is in the bottom floor of this hotel !!!
We give it a 5 star in our boook and we do travel a lot so if your going to San Antonio and want a quality hotel this would be the one at a bydget price

Well the San Antonio River walk is a must see and do you can take the river boat ride up and down the 3 1/2 mile river walk and they even have a dinner boat ride really nice, lots of restaurants and shops , if you like a treasure hunt in town within walking distance is an Antique Mall 3 stories high but only the 1st floor is air conditioned so be ware if you go up stairs , we visited Cow Bills Longhorn Saloon they have a museum in this really nice saloon and restaurant and a souvnier shop , and there is a River Center Mall cnsisting of 115 shops but if you go to www.San Antonio Chamber of Commerce.com you will find plenty more to see and do have a great trip !!!!!

Cow Bill's Longhorn Saloon sounds very good! I love old Western-style staff. :) Where else can I find some really authentic Western-style places in Texas, outside the Ewing-farm, of course? :D
