Once you checked the points mentioned by suzzane, you should exmine the car very carefully. Its very important to put all the cars damages in the contract. Otherwise it could happen, that your credit card will be charged with a sum much more you paid for the rent.
Thats why you should not only check the car, but all damages (most o them small things) should be mentioned in the contract.
