Pelion Mountain is very close to the city of Volos, you can easily reach it from the city by taking the bus. There are so many amazing things there, the beaches of Mylopotamos, some say it is the most beautiful beach of the Aegean Sea in Greece. There are huge forests all over the mountain and some wonderful small villages with old Greek stone houses. Makrinitza is the most famous of these, don't miss it.
Pelion is quite expensive and it's not easy to find accommodation here, but if you happen to visit Volos, definitely visit the Pelion as well.

Price:
Not the cheapest place, so don't be surprised in any case.

How to get there:
Go by bus from Volos.
