The main thing that you can do in the park, apart from walking around, is people-watching. You might be surprised now, but that is what visitors do when they go to Yoyogi Park, and believe me that park is truly a sight you'd never see anywhere else.

First, there are some people that practice tai-chi or some kind of martial art (even with swords) but the most unique people are the ones that are dressed either as Elvis or characters from Grease (or some other kind of famous movie character) or girls wearing poodle-skirts. There are som many different kinds of dresses to see on people, some weird, some outrageous, and they are not even shy when you take pictures of them. Crazy! :) But it's fun! So, visit the park, then you can tell it is not some ordinary place.

Tokyo History

Tokyo is one of the most admired cities today. A peep into the history of the city is as interesting as the city itself. About 400 years ago, Tokyo was called Edo. Ota Dokan built the Edo Castle there. This era is known as the Edo era in Tokyo history. Edo or Tokyo was a small fishing village then. It was in the year 1590 when Ieyasu Tokugawa won the battle of Sekigahara and took the control over [...]
