Black's Beach got its name from the partially black-colored sand, which distinguishes this beach from most other beaches in Southern California. Black beach is north of downtown San Diego, located in the suburb of La Jolla and is regarded as a surfer and nudist paradise. Nudity is actually prohibited in San Diego, but it is tolerated.
Anyhow, this is not for everybody.

Students, gays, lesbians, and many other liberally minded people hang out at Black's Beach.
