It's the greatest place you can possibly take your kids in Ottawa. They have all kinds of exhibitions about the most different things. All the place highly educational destined to make kids understand and meet different aspects of life.

They have rooms like the Destination: Imagination where kids can get to know performing arts, they can try theater costumes and wigs, can try to be characters of famous plays and so on.

In the International Village children can see family homes from different cultures, all very authentic. There is Japanese, Balinese, Aboriginal Oaxacan and others. I also loved it. :P

They have a bazaar made up of market stands of many cultures from Dutch to North African. And many other amazing things.

Price:
Full admission (with the IMAX theater)
Adults: $24
Students and seniors:$20
Children: $16

Opening Hours:
Hours vary, so better check their site for that.

They also have a pyramid with secret passages and hieroglyphs to decode and a tomb chamber. That was our family favorite!Reply
