The rhododendrons make the gardens especially beautiful in May, when they are blooming.
There are also some farms that you can visit, if you like animals, especially horses, your place is there.
They also have a great restaurant and a giftshop, which is not cheap, but there are some beautiful things made by local craftsmen, which worth some investment. :)

Muckross House from 9am to 5:30pm and to 7pm from 1 July to 31 August.
