The city of Caracas is located in the northern part of Venezuela and is also the capital for the country of Venezuela. Although tourism industry isn’t that famous in the city of Caracas, this city is an important city for the country of Venezuela.
The city of Caracas is highly polluted and is very congested when compared to most of the famous tourist hot spots of this planet. For foreigners the city might not be that safe too as thieves are said to dominate the streets during nights.
One will often find huge misbalance between the poor class and the rich class of this city. The financial gap between the two classes is huge. Still the city of Caracas is living due to the characteristics of various inhabitants. People of Caracas are party loving and are highly social humans. This characteristic is the major reason why the warmth of the city is still living even when the city has created a not-so-good image on the international level.
Mount Avila gives an awesome look to the city of Caracas and the chain of subways plus multiple avenues are the reasons why the tourism industry of Caracas hasn’t died down totally. A small number of tourists from the neighboring countries keep pouring in to observe the scenic beauty.
The city of Caracas experiences less variation between the temperatures of summer and winter seasons. The city of Caracas has the advantage that it is located almost a kilometer above sea level. This height helps the city to face temperature which is worth enjoying. During summers, the average minimum temperature is around 18 degree Celsius while the average maximum temperature is around 28 degree Celsius. During winters, the variation is just by two or three degrees. Rain season hits the city of Caracas between the months of May and November. During this season, the city of Caracas is also prone to frightening electrical storms.
Transport by all means is available in the city although those using taxis must remain extra careful. Meters are hardly used in the city of Caracas and hence one should agree upon some price before hiring any taxi.
