San Angelo Nightlife, Texas

Speaking of San Angelo nightlife, the first thing one is reminded of is its rich cultural scenario, rather nightly stage/theater-shows. The San Angelo Symphony gives a number of performances throughout the year at different venues. You can also catch up dramas and musicals staged by both the Angelo Civic Theater and the Angelo State University Theater all year-round.

Nevertheless, if the cultural milieu does not excite you, and you would rather sip your drink all by yourself or let your hair down grooving on to the latest hits, San Angelo nightlife will not disappoint you. Most of the cities in Texas like Austin, Dallas, Midland and San Angelo have a good number of nightclubs, bars, lounges, dancing venues and San Angelo is indeed a happening place when it comes to night-time entertainment.

San Angelo Nightlife – Eateries and Watering Holes

San Angelo has a number of Bar and Grill restaurants like Bodacious Bar BQ, Buffalo Wild Wings and Rascal's Bar & Grill. Your hunt for a family outing will end at Applebee's Neighborhood Bar & Grill.

When it comes to watering holes, San Angelo offers you a whole lot of choices. Blaine’s Pub Company, a brewpub, is a good choice; the home-brewed beer is as good as the casual atmosphere and it is just the place for a little revelry.

Giz And Hums' Billiards & Brew is categorized as a tavern, but here you also have billiard and pool halls. Las Damas Bar, at 2304 Martin Luther King Blvd., is yet another brewpub. The Oasis Lounge has a laid-back ambiance. Unlike other pubs and lounges, it is a little low on the frolic-factor and is a better option for matured people, who would rather go to the adjacent pool hall.

San Angelo has a number of Sports Bars - Archies Club & Sports Bar, Bailey's Sports Bar, Catus Jack Sports Bar & Grill, Fiddlestrings Club & Sports Bar, O’ Bryan’s Five Point Sports Bar, Scorz and Shorty’s Sports Bar. There’s Scrub Pub, the dive bar.

San Angelo Nightlife – Nightclubs

San Angelo nightclubs are famous for their music and DJs; there’s everything – right from country music to reggae, rap and pop. Of course, you can party the whole night even if you are not really fond of music.

The Coachman Club is an all age-group nightclub. Another quite popular area club is the Graham Central Station. Although a little expensive, it serves quality drinks and the music is good; overall management is laudable. Other reputable nightclubs in the city include Auggie’s, Coyotes, Crossroads Club, etc.

Before you step into anyone of the nightclubs, remember to be well-dressed, rather formally dressed, for these clubs follow strict dress-codes. So take care while dressing and you will enjoy San Angelo nightlife.
