Moreno Valley is the city located in the Riverside County of California. Being a young city, its massive growth made it the 2nd biggest city of the county in terms of population. To the city’s east is are Coachella Valley and San Gorgonio Pass, to its south are Perris, Lake Perris and San Jacinto Mountains, to its north are San Bernardino Mountains and San Bernardino Valley and to its west are Orange and Los Angeles counties. The highly traveled routes of Interstate 215 and State Route 60 pass through this city. The four airports serving the city are Los Angeles International Airport, Ontario International Airport, San Bernardino International Airport and John Wayne Airport.

The Box Springs Mountain is visible from almost any part of the city, thus providing it a physical landmark. As far as safety and security in the city are concerned, the police has hired extensive number of officers for combating the increasing gangs and crime in the Moreno Valley. The city is one of the best opportunities of the Inland Empire for a new development project or business enterprise. Recently ranked one of the fastest developing cities of the nation, the Moreno Valley continues to lead the business development sector in terms of development opportunities, undeveloped land, available space for lease and entitled projects of development.

Various businesses are drawn towards the qualified and diverse workforce of Moreno Valley as there are skilled employees out there who like to work nearby their own home. The city also provides easy access to the 27 universities and community colleges of the Inland Empire which are offering a skilled and educated labor to the employers for several years. By the start of the 21st century, many newcomers arrived at the Riverside County making the Inland Empire one of the most attractive places for industry. However, extreme air pollution and congestion on Moreno Valley freeway represented a barrier in the further growth of the city.

The city’s latest developments can be witnessed through the growth undergoing around Day Street and Moreno Valley Mall. If you are a golf lover, you can visit the Moreno Valley Golf Resort which featured in the Top 75 golf courses of USA in the Golf Magazine. The coming up of environment friendly, cheaper and quieter aircraft have signaled the re-consideration of turning the March Air Reserve Base into a major airport for commercial use. The March Air Reserve is equipped with the facility of a ball park where semi-pro baseball can play in summer season.
