Mesa History

 Mesa’s history started from the Hohokam Indians, at least 200 years back. The meaning of their names is “Departed ones” and they had only constructed the canal system in Mesa. During the 1600’s, the explorers and the missionaries had come to Mesa. Before the Mormons arrived in Mesa, the descendants of Hohokam, also called as the Pima Indians had settled in Mesa.  read more
