Located in Alabama, this musical city of Muscle Shoals is famous for more than one reason. Coined as ‘Niagara’ of the south, this city was used to house nitrate plants to be used by the United States during the First World War. When Henry Ford, in the company of Thomas Edison, planned to establish their manufacturing hubs in the city, its real estate market started growing and people from all parts started flocking to Muscle Shoals.

The city was incorporated on April 23, 1923. Later, Fame Recording Studios also entered the city and in due course of time, Muscle Shoals started flourishing. David Shamrock also stepped in here to expand his business. Together with Sheffield, Florence and Tuscumbia, Muscle Shoals is known as Quad City.
