Theatre Royal

It is a historical theatre situated in Grey Street. It was opened in 1778. Theatre Royal hosts a number of shows and live performances including drama, opera, dance and comedy shows. The theatre has more than 100 people of staff.

The Journal Tyne Theatre

It is one of the oldest working Victorian theatres in the world. The venue is used to hold the grand musical programs and contemporary dramas throughout the year.

Jubilee Theatre

Jubilee theatre was opened to public in 1899. It is built with Royal Doulton tiles. It features orchestra pit and sprung dance floor. Jubilee Theater is currently used by Juniper Productions and First Act Theatre etc.

Eldon Square Shopping Centre

Central Arcade

It is an elegant shopping center. It was built in 1906 and situated in Grey Street. It features a number of shops of jewelry, garments, interior decorations, toys and many others.

Monument Mall

It is a beautiful shopping center built in 1990. It is also situated near Grey Street. It features a multi-storey buildings where there are many retailers offering a large range of products. Some of the major retailers are Newcastle United, Evans, TK Maxx, JJB Sports etc. The mall is open throughout the week.

Newcastle City Hall

It is one of the most popular music venues in Newcastle. It offers a number of musical and entertainment programs throughout the year.

Leazes Park

It is situated in the center of the city. It was opened in 1873. The park also acts as a picnic area for families. There is a big playground for children. It is adjacent to Royal Victoria Infirmary and St James' Park.
