Coventry Nightlife, United Kingdom

Coventry has a really kickass nightlife that can give other party towns in England a run for their glamour and hip quotient. There are many bars, pubs, night clubs and discotheques in Coventry which come alive after sundown. Head to these hip party addresses in town for a taste of the uninhibited free life and sinful pleasures which can drive away your work pressure blues and exam stress.

The Golden Cross Pub

This is an old inn dating back to the 1600s, but it has undergone considerable reconstruction and revivification in the last century and the revamped joint plays live music, witnesses band performances and different kinds of music beats churned out by DJs.

The very thought of gulping down a few drinks in this historic pub, which is a living slice of history in itself, is thrilling. It remains open till 2 in the morning and is thronged mostly by students. The dress code is not too strict.

Phoenix

This one is an archetypal English pub offering a variety of drinks and is situated on Whitefriars Street that is historically famous.  Since it is bang opposite Coventry University, it is thronged by the university crowd and I recommend you to sample the alcoholic beverages here.

It remains open from 11 in the morning to 11 in the night during all the 6 days of the week and till 10.30 in the night on Sundays. The cost of drinks is really affordable and pocket friendly.

Skydome

This is an entertainment complex that houses 1 pub, 2 bars, 3 clubs all beneath the same roof and the place is also widely tipped as one of the safest places to go for a night out in town. There are hundreds of surveillance cameras and Girls will therefore feel very safe here.

Ikon and Diva are adjacent to each other. Diva is for an above 25 crowd and plays mostly chartbusters.

If you are in the mood for some serious dancing and want to groove the night away, head to Ikon’s divine dance floors. You can gain a free entrance to Diva through Bond’s Bar if you enter the latter before 10.30 in the night. But then again, only those above 25 are allowed inside Bond’s. You will be frisked wherever you go for security reasons.

The Orange House Pub has no dress code as such, but the crowd that frequents this place is usually very well dressed, well heeled and chic. Whatever you wear has to be smart.
