Reviving Cultural Aspects!
Milwaukee happens to be the biggest city in the state of Wisconsin. Being on the shores of the Lake Michigan, it has developed as one of the greatest central hub for cultural and economic growth. If you ever feel that there is nothing much to do out there during the day time, think again. Milwaukee has some of the most terrific sightseeing locations that you would not want to miss out ever. They could be thought of as:
Charles Allis Art Museum
One of the many interesting places that you would want to visit in Milwaukee is Charles Allis Art Museum. This place consists of several antiques, which might be from the American, French or the Oriental history. Numerous Chinese items, along with the artifacts from the Roman and Greek era are also present in this museum. The mansion had been built in Tudor-style and given up by the owner, Charles Allis, in the year 1944.
Discovery World at Pier Wisconsin
It is one of the hi-tech places at Milwaukee, where individuals, especially scholars, can go and visit several scientific exhibits. The most interesting aspects involve the several laboratories and places, where we could explore different forms of energy and check out the medicinal products that are being manufactured.
International Clown Hall of Fame
It is one of the spotlights at Milwaukee, to think that the place records several facts regarding the aspect of clowning. The records may dive back into the depths of time to almost Greco-Roman era, when this technique was first invented. The entire museum hosts almost all the unique masks that have been used till date along with the live performers ready to entertain us. Moreover, the place holds yearly shows and special events that may enable you to relive the original genre.
Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church
It had been thought of to be designed in the form of the Orthodox Greek cross, with the central circular dome. Nobody is allowed to tour the church except on the occasions of Greek festivities and the regular Sunday Liturgy.
City Hall
The German heritage of the city is clearly depicted through its City Hall, which was built in the original Flemish Renaissance style. You would have to go about the entire place on your own with the help of the brochures provided.
Having visited these wonderful sights of the city, you would wish to return back to Milwaukee again and again.
