Sights to visit and enjoy in Raleigh
Raleigh is a great home to an attractive range of museums, interesting sightseeing and historic buildings. Pullen Park- Raleigh’s Aquatic Center and Theatre in the Park are both situated in the downtown Pullen Park. Since an estimate of about 100 years, this exceptional park provides a great variety of recreational activities for its visitors. Picnic areas, tennis courts and boat rental are among some of the opportunities that the tourists can enjoy at this park in order to have a wholesome entertainment experience. On the lazy afternoons, this serene park offers a unique setting for that short afternoon nap.
North Carolina Museum of Art- This premier museum is equipped with an area of about 181000 square feet of the total exhibit area and is divided into various galleries. The worldwide European collection of the museum includes works from Sandro Botticelli, Peter Paul Rubens and Claude Monet. A popular museum shop and restaurant are also located on the very premises so that the tourists can have a great and comfortable time. The 100 acre park space of the museum is fully featured with sculpture installations, an amphitheatre and a walking trail.
