Binghamton city in New York state, near Endicott is known as the ‘Carousel Capital of the World’ – actually, there are about six carousels in Binghamton and each is regarded no less than an attraction. Your search for pub-cum-eateries should come to end at either Dillingers Celtic Pub & Eatery or at Tom and Marty’s Town House Restaurant. As the name suggests, Dillingers at 77 State Street, is an Irish bar-cum-restaurant. The fact that Dillingers serves only bottled beer puts off many but some like it that way. The other thing about Dillingers that drives people crazy is that there they do not accept credit cards and you need to pay in cash. Speaking of Tom and Marty’s Town House Restaurant, many like it for its welcoming, cozy feel. The food is good and so is the tap beer; as for diversion, you can count on good music and board games.

Binghamton Nightlife – The Nightclubs

Even if Bighamton doesn't have such a buzzing nightlife as New York city, there are many nightclubs within the city-limits as well as in the surrounding areas – Eclipse Nightclub, Flashbacks, Instinct Restaurant and Nightclub, Merlin’s, Madame Oar’s, Ra’Nelles, RathsKellar Night Club, Tzer’s Gentlemens Club and others.

Flashback is a bit pricey, but the ambiance is just wonderful – classy as well as classic.
