Las Vegas, NV - Nightlife
There are absolutely tons and tons of things that you can do for nightlife while you are in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is actually one of the most popular places in the United States for nightlife, as there are hotel-casinos and adult shows that you can go to for fun, not to mention all of the nightclubs and bars.
The best adult show that anyone can go to is the Crazy Horse, which features topless, French, female dancers. This show is not like any other topless show that you can watch, as they present it with more of an artistic manner with set designs, costumes, and lighting. All of the girls are picked from the best and have to meet certain shape, height, and size requirements. There are only two breaks where there is a male performer who takes the stage, where he performs a musical comedic number and magic card tricks. This place is all about celebrating the art of a nude female body and is regarded as very tasteful and entertaining.
The Tabú Ultra Lounge is a hot spot in Las Vegas that has interactive projections that mesmerize using sensual images. This place has internationally renowned Djs that create a casual and cool vibe that put this nightclub on everyone’s list. There are stunning servers and models that tempt you with classic cocktails, and the forbidden world that the Tabú Ultra Lounge creates makes it too hot. The club is open on the weekends from Thursday to Monday at 10pm and opens at dark on Tuesday and Wednesday. Only those who are 21 and older are allowed in the club, and they do have a strict dress code that prohibits shorts, baggy jeans, work boots and tennis shoes.
Studio 54 is another great nightclub that is located in the MGM Grand. This place is a modern interpretation of MGM Grand's original, and it features state-of-the-art video, lighting, and sound, as well as chart-topping music for dancing and live dancers. The nightclub has four bars and dance floors, several lounges that are semi-private and can accommodate as many as 400 people, and an exclusive area for invited guests on the 2nd floor. Studio 54 of today blends the high-energy of music with the wild scene, giving the other clubs a high standard. The club is open at 10pm from Tuesday to Saturday, and you are only admitted if you are 21 or older. There is also a dress code, so you have to wear club clothes to this nightclub.

Poker Rates - Room Discounts for Players >> added on October 5, 2009, by MadSuh
When in Vegas and you want to play some cards, make sure that you ask the floorman about the casino's poker rates. You can get huge discounts, up to 70% off. Also, you do not have to gamble for a lot of money, the rates apply also for the smallest limit tables.
I used to take advantage of these great poker rates at the MGM, the Excalibur, and at Luxor.
Most casinos will ask you to play a combined 5 hours, meaning that if you and your friend go there and play a total of 2 1/2 hours, it's usually enough to get the discount.
Rios's Village Seafood Buffet >> added on August 11, 2009, by MadSuh
The Rio Seafood Buffet is truly amazing. It's one of the higher priced buffets in Vegas and was often ranked the #1 buffet in town. There is also a world buffet, but that one is not really that great. At the Village Seafood Buffet, you will have a huge selection of food from all over the world as well as all you can eat Alaska King crabs and lobster tails. Yummy
Binion's Horseshoe >> added on August 10, 2009, by MadSuh
Binion's Horseshoe is one of the classics in Vegas. This Casino is located in the old city center. It's a fun place and you get a little bit of the old Las Vegas vibe. For many poker players this is like the Mecca of Poker because it's been the host of the World Series of Poker for many years and when you go there, you can often bump into famous players. If you are a player, you will always find some good action here, with all the games and for all tastes and purse sizes.
Poker at Horseshoe, Vegas >> added on June 16, 2009, by MadSuh
Visit the Horseshoe if you would like to do some classic style poker. The Horseshoe offers one of the oldest poker rooms in Vergas and you can often see some of the poker legends there. Cash games are not too expensive, but there are all sorts of games there, so you pick your level. Enjoy
Playing Poker >> added on February 26, 2009, by MadSuh
I love gambling (only Poker) so I usually get warmed up over at the Excalibur, although the last time I was there, they only had digital tables left. Anyhow, The Mirage has a nice set of tables with some extra Jackpots. If you want the real Vegas Poker thing, go head down to Old Town Vegas and stop by the Horse Shoe. You'll most likely see some pros there as well, so if you are a Poker fan, you can just do some sight seeing as well. For great food, I recommend, Seafood Buffet at the Rio, Breakfast at the Bellagio or Paris. Main Street Station has a very cheap Buffet (in old town Las Vegas), but it's actually quite good. For up scale I liked Bradley Odgen's Restaurant. At night head out to the Palms and I like the Hard Rock, which has a really nice night club. Finally, if you want to see some really nice buildings/hotels, you should just walk down the Strip. Stop at Bellagio and watch the awesome Water Concert over the lake. Walk inside Caesar's Mall and catch a Gondola inside the Venetian, you'll love it.
