If there are cities famous for abundant hot and trendy nightspots, Los Angeles is definitely included on the top of the list. This is one metropolitan area that is never dull and hosts more than a dozen dynamic pubs, bars and restaurants that will keep any partygoer busy ‘til the break of dawn. Visitors can groove the night out with plenty of discos and pubs around every LA corner, along with themed-bars and night shows that keep fun and entertainment rolling.

Bars and More

These are just some of the hottest bar venues located in Los Angeles today. Each has a unique offer from food, great cocktails and drinks to cool music all through the night.

The Medusa Lounge offers more than a cozy classic setting. It features a variety of cocktail selections and specialty beers to late-night hip lounge crowds. The venue also offers German and European inspired dishes that are sure to satisfy the palate. Live DJs are also there on weeknights.

The Blu Monkey Bar & Lounge features a Moroccan-style lounge and bar venue. Guests can hang out on the wood bar, just relax in the VIP and private rooms or have a casual drink in the outdoor patios and comfy couches on the lounge areas.

If it’s a unique Californian, dining experience that you crave for, the Twin Palms is the place to go. Famous for its unique al fresco ambiance, it offers contemporary American dishes that are delightfully delicious. The venue’s full bar and world-class wine selection suits every taste and budget. Live entertainment ranging from classical jazz to modern dance music sets the mood for any type of nightlife guest.

Big Dean’s Café is truly one of the great places to unwind when you’re in LA. It is a crowd favorite even among California’s popular people, especially because of its reasonable price rate. Great food, music, wine, and fun, are synonymous with Big Dean’s.

Timmy Nolan’s is a popular sports Irish bar in the LA area. You’ll get to experience the Irish hospitality and spirit with the diverse Irish beers and whiskeys and delicious food to go with them. And what a way to complete the atmosphere than watching the football series on plasma TVs. It’   definitely an Irish treat.

Fun and enjoyment the Mexican way, that is what El Coyote After Dark has to offer. A well-loved restaurant in the area, it offers hot Mexican foodstuff and of course, the best Margarita in town. This nightspot also features a lively and entertaining Mexican atmosphere.

Pierce Street Annex serves as a trendy neighborhood bar by the day and an energetic club by night. It remains to be one of the favorite spots among singles in the LA district. Live music, outdoor fun and unending live dance music are just some of the things you could experience at this joint.

Daily Print is another neighborhood bar that has been in the business for years. This bar offers a large selection of local and imported beers, scotches bourbons and tequilas. Still a preferred choice by many locals, it provides an atmosphere where everyone can sit back and relax or just enjoy a fun-filled weekend.

Howl at the Moon Hollywood is a unique place for fun and entertainment.  For music enthusiasts and even sing-along aficionados, this is the place to be. Plus, there is booze to go around all night to add to the fun and thrill. This is a perfect venue for large crowds of party people, especially with their great happy hour specials.

  • MadSuhThe Original Pantry Cafe >> added on September 22, 2009, by MadSuh
This is one of the classic places to go to for a great 'un-'healthy American breakfast. It tastes awesome, don't get me wrong, but you know how bacon and eggs are not excatly your perfect diet.
Anyhow, I love this place and usually go there when I need some big chunks of bacon, some huge over easy eggs and great sour dough toast and of course yummy pancakes to finish off.
The Original Pantry Cafe apparently has not been closed since around 1924, or since they started :)
  • MadSuhHollywood Park Casino >> added on August 11, 2009, by MadSuh
Hollywood Park Casino is located next to the race tracks at Hollywood Park. It's one of the places I like to hang out at when I am bored and want to gamble a bit and see strange characters. You'll be amazed how shady of a place this is, but it's fun. Anyhow, they god all sorts of tables, plenty of poker tournaments and a lot of cool Jackpots. Oh, and the food is rather good. There is a Pink's Hot Dog stand inside as well :)
  • MadSuhLawry's Steakhouse >> added on August 9, 2009, by MadSuh
Lawry's Steakhouse is simply amazing. I can go there any day of the week. In my opinion when it comes to Prime Rib, this is the place to go to. It's classic, always has great service and the steaks always rock. Please be sure that you like prime rib, it's really your only choise besides lobster. They bring your meat to your table using this large iron cart and then your carver will cut the piece out that you prefer. There are many different cuts. If you have a light appetite, get the English cut, in my case I usually chew on the beef bowl :) Here is what they have to say about their history: Lawrence L. Frank and Walter Van de Kamp co-founded the original Lawry's The Prime Rib on La Cienega Boulevard in Beverly Hills. Much of the splendor of the meal was in the way each part of the dinner was prepared and presented. Ever the showman, Lawrence designed the famous "silver" carts so the beef could be carved at tableside. Through the years, the basic elements of Lawry's The Prime Rib have remained virtually unchanged. It is still a family business, with the second and third generations of Franks and Van de Kamps working side by side in the restaurants' operation. Modifications and improvements have been made to meet today's demands, but the meals served remain timeless-and still very much Lawry's.
  • MadSuhManpuku >> added on August 7, 2009, by MadSuh
This is definitely one of my favorite food places in LA. It's located in a place called Little J Town. Basically a tiny little Japanese shopping and Restaurant area in Santa Monica. You'll love the menu at Manpuku, which is all about Japanese BBQ. I can recommend the sea weed salad, the raw beef with the egg, and of course the fantastic outside Skirt steaks. You'll love the place, trust me.
