Pueblo Grande Museum is located near downtown Phoenix. It showcases the life in the Sonoran Desert more than 2 millenniums ago. Indians, which we now recognize as the Hohokam, were the first ones to settle in this area around time of Christ. However, they disappeared mysteriously in 1450 AD.

Arizona Science Center

Arizona Science Center is one of the crown jewels of downtown Phoenix. Your kids are going to have a memorable time in this place. This center features several hands-on exhibits, a large screen theater and a planetarium along with a gift shop and food court.

Phoenix Zoo

Phoenix Zoo is one of the largest non-profit zoos of the nation. It hosts over 1,300 animals, including around 200 endangered animals from across the globe.

Rawhide Wild West Town

Rawhide Wild West Town is a wonderful place for locals and tourists, who want to enjoy the Old West. Its highlight includes mock gunfights and treat skits along with a petting zoo, stage show and a train-ride through an artificial desert. It also houses a steakhouse and an old-timey saloon.
