Millenium Bridge >> added on September 10, 2009, by erato
The Millennium Bridge is just the perfect place for walking, I would say. It is a pedestrian bridge that links the Tate Modern Gallery with St.Paul's Cathedral on the Thames. The view from there onto the city is amazing, you wouldn't believe... Go and see it if you are in London. :)
London Eye >> added on September 1, 2009, by bicska
If you really want to enjoy a sighseeing in London I would recommanded for you a ride on London Eye. You need to book the tickets before(minimum 2 days before) to get one and you'll must stay in a line for 2-3 hours, but after all this you'll see a fantastic view of London city, off course if you'll be lucky and the wheater will be fine. The ride is almoust an hour(40-45 minits). One ticket is between 15-30 pounds, I would recommand the 30 pound ticket. Don't go without your camera (as I did)!

Telephon boxes >> added on June 28, 2009, by danpop
In London, you can see the popular red telephone box, despite the reduction of their numbers in the past years. Even if they are not only exclusively made for London, here you can see many of the reminding booths. The red design is since 1924, with numerous modifications in time. So, walking on the streets of London you can see numerous designs for essentially the same thing: a phone booth. Don't forget to take photos while talking on the phone in this lovely boxes.
Westmindster Abbey >> added on April 27, 2009, by erato
Westmindster Abbey is the traditional place for the coronation of the English monarchs since William the Conqueror in 1066. The gothic cathedral is 170 m long, 25 m wide and 34 m high. Many of the country's kings and queens, artists and scientists are buried here but there is no great man in the English culture who wouldn't get at least a memorial plate in the abbey.
