There is no perfect time to explore and unravel all of London, but during the night, you will surely have the grandest time and will even consider extending your stay at this grand city.

One excellent time to find more of London is during the night.  Visit nearby cities, historical sites and enjoy sightseeing at night.  Evenings are so much livelier in London.

Those who would want complete relaxation and fun outside the busy streets may want to spend their evening via a showboat ride and dinner cruise on the River Thames.  Enjoy listening to live music on board the showboat while having a sumptuous meal with your partner, friends or family.  Not only will you be entertained by performers aboard the showboat, you’ll also be relaxed by simply watching the sight of lights covering the whole of London.  Experience other shows like the Beatles Magic Mystery and the Jack the Ripper themed tour.

Enjoy a bird’s eye view of London’s majestic sight by visiting the Tower of London.  It has a share of history too.  In fact, it served as a royal residence, a royal prison and execution site, a vault, a museum, a zoo and many more.  This best-known landmark is home to the British crown jewels.  Make sure you have allocated at least two to three hours for you to see much of its historical artifacts in display for the entire world to see.

You may even go up the “Big Ben” at night.  Stephen’s Tower is also another term of the Parliament’s clock tower.  The Big Ben tower shares its belfry with four bells which are smaller in size that play every 15 min.

Get to enjoy the city’s entire splendor by taking a walk in its numerous parks.  One of the most-visited parks in London is the Kensington Gardens, having a 260-acre royal backyard.  You may want to take your family or friends to stroll along its beautiful paths.  Gaze at the magnificent palace and formal gardens and get to see royal artifacts in the art gallery.  Kensington Gardens is not the largest, you may want to visit the Hyde Park too, one of London’s larger Royal Parks.  It has lots of open space, with over 350 acres of playgrounds, lake, woods, both formal and informal sporting areas and greenery.  It is a perfect place to be if you want to be away from the noise and hustle and bustle of London life.

Relax and listen to four of the world’s largest orchestras only found in London.  You may choose to go to the London Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, The Philharmonia, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.  Watch the Royal Ballet in Convent Garden or you may also want to go to Theatreland, home to more than twelve musicals playing at discounted tickets.  You may also want to go to The National Theatre.

If you want a taste of modern life, pubs and clubs are all around London, with over 200 venues to choose from like the world renowned Ministry of Sound, dance to disco music or enjoy the glamour and aura of thriving gay scene.  Watch Fabric and Turnmills where top international DJs are seen.  You’ll also want to visit Notting Hill Arts Club and the Blag Club

There’s so much more London has to offer, all forms of entertainment, all kinds of music, all dance grooves with unique ambience for each club or bar.  Entrance to pubs is free; charges will apply if there are live performances then.  Enjoy the music at over 5,000 plus pubs scattered at almost every corner of London’s streets, hang out with friends while drinking wine, or dine at some of the world’s famous restaurants only found in London.  Enjoy supple meals each according to your preference.

So much to see, so much to enjoy, one night is not enough.  You’ll definitely consider staying for another night in London and enjoy the night away.

There are some extraordinary organ concerts in Westminster Abbey on every Sunday afternoon from 17:45. They take approximately half an hour and the acoustic is amazing in the Abbey.
There are various well-known artists who are playing and it is all free. It is the best organ music I have ever heard.
Once you are there, you can also take a look around the Abbey, even if you can't tour the entire place, it can be a foretaste to a later visit. Enjoy the music! :)
