Cambridge, UK - Sights: A delight, round the year

A great pleasure to visit in any season, Cambridge is a beautiful compact city, free from all national prejudices with both old and new form of architecture adding to its beauty.. One can easily draw inspiration from the art galleries and museums. The architecture ranges from European art to Zebra skeletons. The university buildings and colleges attract people who have interest in architecture. However, the controversial modern architecture seems to be in no harmony with modern buildings. The Maths department colleges are very interesting modern buildings reflecting the tastes of modern architecture. To add to the list are Jesus College and Clare College.

Cambridge is very famous for rowing and almost all schools and colleges have their own clubs in addition to the town clubs.

It’s very easy to get around in Cambridge and each time one pays a visit, there is always something new to offer. The city is lively 24x7. In the post afternoon period, there are poetry readings, live music of all kinds Arts theatre, Student theatrical production and many more. There are public lectures to put your ears into. It is undoubtedly a family-friendly place with a host of attractions.

The best way to see Cambridge, the University and its colleges is to use a guide tour or a pod cast tour. One can even use punting tours to see this beautiful city from the river or he also has the option of choosing Ghost tours which includes evening tours to the spookiest parts of the city. One can easily relax in many of the parks and green spaces that the city hosts.

A host of events and festivals take place all the year round which even includes Shakespeare season taking place in the college gardens. Many recitals and concerts are performed regularly in the city’s churches and college chapels.
