Cambridge is undoubtedly one of the few cities of the world where night runs in parallel with its counterpart life. A trip to this beautiful city of architecture and festivals but nightlife is great. If one is ardent fan of music, staunch pub goers, then this is a one stop destination. Not only is the city happening, but also lively and active in all respects.

Unlike other places, nightlife in Cambridge is not boring and is not restricted to a particular section of society. One can easily expect and see a mix up of university students, locals and tourists enjoying their drinks. So one can never get bored out here! To add, there is there is Ancient Druids. It’s the only pub in the city which brews its own beer. Walk a little, we get King’s street. Once there used to be seven pubs and it was the talk of the town that in order to complete the race, they drink a beer from each one of them.

A new addition to the list is Grant Chester, a district famous for its well known pubs, good scenery and restaurants. It is a must visit for those who love to hang out after the sun sets in. One can even punt through the Cam to reach Grant Chester but it’s not as easy as it sounds. There is mud in this section of the river. However, a work to increase appetite for a beer would be a good option. This city is also famous for its beer festival. A one in many!

The city also has lots to offer for the music and dance maniacs. It is after all a city of entertainment. For one interested in music without dancing, one has to check in Norfolk Street. There are several jazz group performances many times a week. The option of dancing is also open to the people. But it is not as popular as pubs. However if one wishes to, he can drop in Ronelles Night club. Though entertaining, ordinary British pubs, even the ones in Cambridge, can get closed at around 11pm. Ronelles is an exception. In addition to all these, one has access to restaurants, cafes, tea and sandwich shops, fish and chips and takeaways etc.
