After the sunset, it is great fun out there in the city. A night out in Bangkok is full of life and great fun. Bangkok, which is one of the coolest places in South East Asia, has diverse night life bubbling with excellent music and dance. It seems as if once darkness overshadows the streets and alleys, Bangkok gets its second life. The city glitters with sparkling lights and vibrant discos and pubs. Most importantly, it is quite partying all night in Bangkok.

Bangkok offers thrilling live Thai/rock and chart music, hip-hop dance,s Chilling bars and pubs, top class restaurants for you to have a blast. All you need is a handful of bucks to have a great time there.

The streets of Bangkok are flooded with bars, pubs and lounges, which feature English, American and Irish styles. You can enjoy your favorite drink in the shade of dimly lit lights in any of these places.  The dark streets also boast Jazz and live music. At the Go-Go bars the bikini-clad girls dancing to the tune of fantastic music one can feel the real essence of life ebbing out.

When it comes to naming a few of the places that are quite loved by the crowd, you have to talk about the Bulls Head. The Bulls Head on Sukhumvit road is a British styled pub with regular quiz and theme nights. Actually, Sukhumvit road is flooded with British, Irish, German and American bars and clubs which would interest expatriates.

Open Air Vertigo Bar is another popular hangout of the city. Concept CM2 is another club with a huge disco. Its hip hop and karaoke nights are the most popular throughout the city. The Narcissus club provides ostentatious décor with trance and techno playing all night long. The Bed Supper club provides international DJ set with Asian fusion music. Khao San Road is another area that will attract your attention as every café shop or club on this road is illuminated with neon signs.

Then there is Ratchadapisek. This is a government designated zone to party at night. Hence, every activity in this area is legal and regulated. Nana Plaza has number of GOGO bars. Then the very infamous Patpong in Silom is another place known for its GOGO bars.

You can do a more lot apart from visiting the clubs and bars in Bangkok. You can go to a theatre and watch a late night show of a new blockbuster.

  • MadSuhBed Supper Club >> added on September 23, 2009, by MadSuh
This club must be one of your favorites if you know bangkok nightlife a little. It's super stylish and also quite expensive. The Club looks like a space ship from the outside ... and well ... I guess from the inside as well.
There are some large beds sat up so you can actually lie down in the club, it's basically an oversized couch with huge pillows - cool!

Go there on Wednesdays when it's models night. Models get in for free and you are bound to see some good looking ladies there.

If you go there during evening hours you can grab dinner which is a mix of Thai and European dishes smartly blended together. The staff is dressed like some sexy space ship crew.

This is a fun but rather Westerner oriented classic. Q-Bar is for you if you like cocktails, if you like style and well if you like bangkok Nightlife with all its good and negative parts. If you go there, I would recommend staying across the street at Le Phoenix, which is a great designer hotel.

Also, don\'t be fooled by the beautiful ladies hitting on you, that\'s all bad business, even if they deny that.

Anyhow, it\'s a fun place you have to see at least once while in Bangkok.
  • MadSuhOishi Grand Buffet at Siam Discovery >> added on September 4, 2009, by MadSuh
When I am in Bangkok, I always stop at this place, simply because I love how they got such a huge selection of fish, meat, veggies etc. They use very high quality ingredients for everything they offer and the food is affordable. It's not like eating on the street, but then you get anything from filet mignon to jumbo prawns, soft shell crabs etc... really yummy stuff.

Don't eat the Sushi, just go for the buffet, it's much better.

To me this is a must when in Bangkok
