The best means of transport on land that links Gdansk to other cities is the train. Gdansk Glowny is the primary railway station and it is just a 10-minute walk from the city center. The railway connects the city to major cities in Poland like Warsaw, Wroclaw, Lodz, Torun and Krakow. It is also linked to other European places like, Slovak, Czech, and Berlin.
When exploring the city, people can choose from different means of transportation. The most inexpensive and most numerous are buses and trams. Taxis and cars rental are also available.
