There are a whole lot of places to travel in Surigao City. It is not only limited to historical places. You can take a trip inside a cave, go and take pictures with mangroves. Just take your pick. You can even go island hopping with a few hours of travel from the city. Read on and find out more of the fun you can have in this exciting spot.

Up for snorkeling? Thirty to forty minutes of travel from Surigao City on a pedicab and you are there. Punta Bilar beach has clear waters and an overall great snorkeling area. If it is your first time to do it, you do not have to worry because there are expert hobbyists around who can teach you. You can exercise your arms and legs with this one. By the way, be sure to wear your comfortable swimsuits.

Swimming and a great view is what Maharlika Beach Resort and Training Center can put forward. It is one of the top convention and training centers in Surigao City. Accommodation is always at its best and the facilities are of high standard. Clear and wonderful view of the historical Surigao Strait and nearby islands makes this place even further soothing. Maharlika Beach Resort is worth its price.

On a pump boat, you can reach Buenavista Cave in forty-five minutes from the City of Surigao. Discover and experience what it is like inside a cave with stone formations that can be interpreted as an image of grand King’s Court. You might not want to miss the knee-deep pond, which resembles a throne. Not many can experience this in their vacations. This one is an escapade you will surely never forget.

Sanctuary of various underwater species, Manjagao Mangrove Forest has become a highlight of the tourists’ vacation. Believe it or not, you can have a boat ride along the water channels that were carved naturally by Mother Nature and see for yourself the mangrove trees and the corals underneath it that are visible above the water. You can appreciate the colored fishes living in the corals below, as if you can even touch them by dipping your hands.

All these and much, much more gorgeous spots are located in Surigao City or just a little travel from the capital itself. With the right budget, and friends to go with, having a blast is just easy. You would find yourself having fun and compiling this trip to your album of memorable travels.
